Rangers FC

Well, here we have some fantasy shirts for the worlds most successful club, Rangers of Glasgow. Rangers were founded in 1873, and play their home games at Ibrox. They are one half of one of the most bitter, intense rivalries in the world, the Old Firm, along with Celtic, which was actually played earlier on today, with Rangers losing 0-2 at Ibrox. They are usually referred to as the Gers, but among other names are the Teddy Bears and Sky Blues.

HOME

This home shirt could be compared to the current, but in fact the template is that of Ireland's from a few years back. On the left sleeve, I used an '1873' watermark to show the year Rangers was found. There is white trim on bottom front of the shirt, and beside the left one, I've used the famous Bill Struth quote ''Let the others come after us. We welcome the chase.'', also in watermark form.

 

AWAY

 I used Ranger's tradition colours, Blue, white and red in this shirt, with black also being used. The three bars on the front represent the colours, with a red trim being used on the sleeves and collar. White was used on the Umbro and Rangers logos, with a black surround.

 

THIRD

The design for this shirt is quite basic, but the colour was actually not easily thought of. I decided in the end to use the colour gold, as next season will be the 40th anniversary of Rangers UEFA Cup Winners Cups title. However, I did not include any mention of this on the shirt, as the colour was also a random choice, since I wanted to use something Rangers have not used before. The shirt has a white collar, with an image of the Scotland flag on the left side.
