Northern Ireland

So here's the first collection of international football shirts. I've decided to begin with Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland play their home games at Linfield FC's ground, Windsor Park. They are nicknamed 'Norn Iron' and are currently ranked 42nd in the FIFA rankings.

HOME

Here we have the traditional Northern Ireland green home jersey, along with added navy and white trim, quite commonly used before on 'Norn Iron' shirts. Since this is an older template, it doesn't go along with the 'retro' look that Umbro do at the moment.

 

AWAY

I picked red as the colour for the away shirt. It is a colour featured on Northern Ireland flags in the past, but also the banner of the province of Ulster. Along with this, there is navy and white trim like the home kit. On the sleeves I've included the satirical Green and White Army fan saying ''We're not Brazil, We're Northern Ireland'' in watermark form, the former on the left sleeve and the latter on the right.
